Probiotics: What are they and what’s the best source to find them in?

First off, you can get probiotics in food, you don’t have to add supplements. Natural food sources have always been the best source, but the problem now is that studies are showing the soil has been depleted of many of its nutrients. So I’d recommend a blend of both natural foods and supplements to boost your health.

And in case you don’t know, probiotics are beneficial bacteria that support the systems in your body, particularly the digestive system.

Now, I’m sure you’ve heard that yogurt and diary are great ways to get beneficial probiotics. But there are actually many other, and often more beneficial ways, to get probiotics. In fact, some of the highest probiotic cultures are found in Kimchi and sauerkraut.

And here are some more:

Fermented raw cabbage Coconut Kefir Beet Kvass Kombucha

Did you know? There’s more bacteria in your body than there are human cells. So when you experience things like:

IBS GERD Acid Reflux Constipation Indigestion Dysbiosis

These are signs your body may be providing the perfect environment for the growth of bad bacteria, and so by supporting the gut with healthy probiotics you can minimize the proliferation of harmful bacteria.

For more information, contact us and we'll be happy to help you get your gut in order.
